The Slovakian national team secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Belgium in the first round of the Euro 2024 group stage.

The only goal of the match was scored by Ivan Schranz in the 7th minute.

Romelu Lukaku had two goals disallowed in the 56th and 58th minutes after VAR review.

With this win, Slovakia now has 3 points and stands in second place on goal difference behind Romania. Belgium remains in third place with no points, followed by Ukraine, also with no points.
