According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," Barcelona’s head coach Hans Flick has requested the signing of a new player to compensate for the departure of Marcos Alonso from the club.

The newspaper reports that Barcelona has its eyes on a promising young Brazilian talent, João Henrique Mendes, who currently plays for Fluminense.
